Information Design I
8.5 x 11" trifold, inkjet on paper
2 weeks (Fall 2017)
Inspired by democratic design, DIY movements and my love for graphic tees, this project was an informational expermient in how to communicate the creative and physical processes of screenprinting to create your own idea. Ideally this project would be part of a kit sold anywhere ideas can be found(everywhere).
The process of screenprinting has its fair share of steps, both technical and physical, I challenged myself to create a diagram that illustrated its points with little to no text. I started this process by numbering notecards and breaking down the process logistically, with this came very rough sketches of different ways to represent what the user/viewer should do or would see.
While the final work was a trifold brochure, I did explore options where the paper folding mimicked that of a t-shirt on a shelf.
